It’s true that first impressions (and second, and third, …) are very important, which is why a person should always look their best whether they are dressed up or casual.
First impressions with respect to clothing and fashion, is best when your clothing fits properly. We work very closely with our suppliers to achieve the right fit and proportion for all our clothing. Being a store that only sells shorter sizes (and caters exclusively to shorter men), our attention to detail and our understanding of the various details and appropriate lengths, is a huge advantage for us, in doing this right.
It is not just business or corporate professionals who should care about image. Dressing for special occasions, important get-togethers or just going out casually, should be just as important. I have had the opportunity to dress shorter actors, and media personalities, who know that their image is very important, and well as the consistency of that image.
If you are dressed in fashionable clothing, but the clothes do not fit properly, it is terrible for a good impression. Dressing in a trendy or conservative way, is not what we are talking about, as the image one projects is made by the way your clothing fits. Make the effort to do it right, and you will experience very positive results.
